Usher in Spring with Vault + Vine
Vibrant flower petals, creeping vines, bright green leaves stretching toward the nearest patch of sunlight: the earliest signs of spring are finally peeking through winter’s chill!
At The Overlook, we’re thrilled to see the return of warmer temperatures and more colorful landscapes; Fairmount Park just isn’t the same without them. But how can you bring spring indoors at your luxurious townhome?
Luckily, Vault + Vine is conveniently located and has everything you need to brighten up your space! Bringing together plants, coffee, and an assortment of gifts and other merchandise, this shop is more than just a quick stop for an item or two. The immersive retail experience is unlike any other, providing locals like residents of The Overlook with an oasis, an interactive gathering place, and even a smaller event venue.
In 2009, Peicha Chang opened up a floral design shop by the name of Falls Flowers on Conrad Street in East Falls. She and the team recently moved to Midvale Avenue, where they established Vault + Vine with the same basic values in mind.
The idea behind the shop is to invoke a sense of rejuvenation in the middle of a bustling, lively city environment. While East Falls has the benefit of being somewhat removed from the busier communities of Philadelphia, it never hurts to find that one retreat that you can escape to at a moment’s notice. For many in the area, that is Vault + Vine.
Inside the four walls of this business, shoppers find several ways at once to retreat from the rest of the world, whether that be by sitting quietly with a personalized beverage, admiring any of the local goods out on display, or simply soaking in a spot of nature in an otherwise urban setting. Peicha’s vision includes a community of businesses and customers, in which each player helps to support one another and encourage decent practices on local and widespread endeavors.
Peicha and her talented staff offer floral design services for weddings and events, custom arrangements, and green additions perfect for the home or office. She also brings in home goods and gifts that are often sourced from her fellow Philadelphian entrepreneurs and business owners.
Voted the best “New City Garden Shop” as part of the Best of Philly 2018 in Philadelphia Magazine, Vault + Vine works overtime to keep a wide array of everything its customers will enjoy. From candles to jewelry, essential oils and bath salts to bags and other house goods, this shop keeps residents of The Overlook and other neighborhoods well stocked on comforts. Stop in for a coffee, or find the perfect plant to brighten up your office at home – Vault + Vine has you covered.
